Safeguarding Children and Adults Training Prospectus:


NTC maintains and develops professional working relationships with each provider to ensure that all safeguarding training commissioned is memorable, enjoyable and of the highest quality. We are adaptable in our delivery and approach, offering a mixture of routes to suit all such as on-site and remote training through virtual platforms.

All training associates that are involved in delivery of safeguarding courses are trained trainers and have the appropriate experience and qualifications which allows each associate to impart knowledge while having the ability to engage, support and provide guidance to attending delegates

What Is Safeguarding? - Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP)


Find out about the key topics that define safeguarding adults, consider the six principles, who it applies to and types of adult’s abuse. Understand the importance of wellbeing and the Care Act Legislation and principles that underpin balancing a person’s safety and an individual’s choice, rights, and freedoms.


Safeguarding Adults Under The Care Act Section 42 Enquiries


  • This webinar is for delegates who have completed Safeguarding Adults part one. It will provide delegates with an understanding of what happens when a safeguarding adult enquiry is undertaken, and the expectations should your organisation be tasked with enquiries and actions under section 42 of the Care Act. The content will also focus on key aspects of information sharing including the importance of consent, effective reporting, and the key legislation relevant to Adult Safeguarding.


The Mental Capacity Act: Assessing Capacity


This webinar will cover the assessment of capacity and will focus on the key aspects of the law to help delegates feel legally confident. The aim is to provide each delegate with knowledge and understanding of the correct process of the completion of a capacity assessment. We will also explore the necessary steps which that must be followed to assess an individual’s capacity through effective communication under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Safeguarding Adults Level 4 One-Day Webinar Course

The advanced Safeguarding Adults Level 4 course is designed to build on the knowledge of lead professionals involved in safeguarding adults at risk of harm, who may be involved or asked to lead an S42 enquiry regarding the abuse or neglect of an adult with care and support needs.
